Terms of Service
These terms cover your use of OA Labs software and this website (oa-labs.com). OA Labs is a label of Form and Function Studio, a sole proprietorship based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By downloading, installing, or purchasing our software, you agree to these terms.
Your license
When you download or buy an OA Labs plugin, you receive a license to use the software. You do not own the software itself. You may use the plugin, and the audio you create with it, in personal and commercial work at no extra cost. You may not resell, rent, redistribute, share, or repackage the plugin or its installer, and you may not reverse-engineer it or attempt to extract its source or algorithms.
Acceptable use
Use the software lawfully. Do not attempt to defeat or share license activation, distribute cracked copies, or use the software to break the law.
Delivery
Products are delivered digitally. Free products are downloaded directly. For paid products, you receive a download and a license key after purchase. There is no physical product.
Payments
Free products require no payment. Paid products are not yet available. When they launch, they will be one-time purchases, and the payment and checkout terms that apply will be added here.
Intellectual property
The OA Labs name and logo, the software, and its presets and design are the property of Form and Function Studio. These terms do not transfer any of those rights to you beyond the license described above.
No warranty
The software is provided “as is”, without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee it is error-free or that it will run in every host or on every system.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Form and Function Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, or for lost data or lost work, arising from your use of the software. Please back up your projects.
Changes
We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date shown above.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there.
