Terms of Service

These terms cover this website (oa-labs.com) and buying from it. OA Labs is a label of Form and Function Studio, a sole proprietorship based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. By using the site, or downloading or buying our software, you agree to these terms.

The software

OA Labs plugins, free or paid, are licensed to you under the End User License Agreement, which forms part of these terms. It covers what you may do with a plugin, activations, the free trial, updates, and warranty.

Buying

Our online ordering is handled by Dodo Payments, our authorised reseller and merchant of record. When you buy, you buy from Dodo Payments, and the software is licensed to you by OA Labs under the End User License Agreement. Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms govern the sale itself.

• Unless stated otherwise, paid plugins are one-time purchases: no subscription and no renewal.
• The price, with any sales tax or VAT for where you live, is shown at checkout before you pay. Dodo Payments calculates and collects the tax and issues your receipt.
• Payment, invoices and receipts are handled by Dodo Payments. We never take payment directly and never send you a bill.
• Paid plugins can be tried free before you buy; see the End User License Agreement. Please use the trial to check a plugin works in your setup.

Delivery

Everything is delivered digitally; there is no physical product. Free products are downloaded directly from this site. For paid products, the download links and your license key appear on the page you return to after checkout, and your receipt email from Dodo Payments has your order details. Because the software is delivered as soon as you buy it, you agree that delivery starts straight away. Our Refund Policy still applies.

Refunds and chargebacks

Refunds are covered by our Refund Policy and paid through Dodo Payments. If something is wrong, please email support@oa-labs.com before contacting your bank: most problems are quicker to fix by email, and Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms ask that you contact them before raising a chargeback. A refunded purchase’s license key stops working.

Support

We support our software ourselves: email support@oa-labs.com. Dodo Payments handles questions about payments, invoices and receipts, and we can pass those on for you.

The website

The site, its text, images and design, and the OA Labs name and logo belong to Form and Function Studio. Please don’t copy or reuse them without asking. The site is provided as is, and we may change or remove any part of it.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Form and Function Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of this site or a purchase from it, and our total liability for a purchase is limited to the price you paid. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law where you live that cannot be excluded.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always on this page, with the date shown above. Changes do not affect a purchase you have already made.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. Dodo Payments’ Buyer Terms, which cover the sale, have their own governing law.
