Nitrate A degradation suite built around scheduled decay
Damage you can schedule. One fault fires and nine modules answer it together: one machine faltering, not nine effects firing.
The fault engine
Most degradation plugins print a fixed impression of damage onto your audio. Nitrate damages it live.
Nine modules, in signal order.
The failure vocabulary comes from decaying image media rather than from tape — nitrate stock, phosphor screens, magnetic film. Each module carries its own amount, its own dry/wet, and its own answer to every fault type.
